			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Every day, I hear about <span style="color:#008080;"><strong>management problems</strong> </span>that are causing <span style="color:#008080;"><strong>real strife</strong></span> in people&#8217;s lives.</p>
<ul>
<li>Too many people say their manager doesn&#8217;t know how to manage.</li>
<li>Too many managers are frustrated with individual employee personality or performance issues.</li>
<li>Too many organisations are investing in systems that will never realise their potential, due to unresolved management issues.</li>
<li>Too many people are adamant that the situation will never change, which means they&#8217;ll continue to put up with this strife, often at a cost to their work, their home life and their own health and well-being.</li>
</ul>
<p>It all seems so unnecessary.</p>
<p>As an organisational development professional, I help organisations, individual managers and employees develop and stay focused on a clear <strong><span style="color:#008080;">vision</span></strong>, appropriate <strong><span style="color:#008080;">systems</span></strong>, targeted <strong><span style="color:#008080;">skill-building</span></strong> and <strong><span style="color:#008080;">walking the talk</span></strong>.  In doing so, I help people clarify existing dynamics, available options and their consequences, and I challenge them to do the right thing.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#008080;">Which means that</span></strong> individuals at all levels are able to expand their circles of influence, increase their sense of control, and become better team players and managers.</p>
<p>The <span style="color:#008080;"><strong>benefits</strong></span> are:</p>

<li>decreases in unproductive interpersonal conflict,</li>

<p>I am involved with <strong><span style="color:#008080;">organisations</span></strong> who make a commitment to improving management capacity, and am blessed to be part of shifting their entire culture from one of &#8220;dependency on management and blaming &#8216;them&#8217; &#8221; to one of &#8220;shared responsibility for proactive decision-making&#8221;.</p>
<p>I also work with <strong><span style="color:#008080;">individuals</span></strong> who are simply trying to cope with an unsupportive, undeveloped front-line manager and/or organisation, and am blessed to be part of their journey in either finding ways to operate professionally in these environments, or finding their way to a new, more satisfying environment.</p>
